The Smolensk State Medical University was founded in 1920. It is a government medical college and is recognized by WHO and all other popular countries of the world including USA, UK, and India. The University is ranked on the 22nd position in the international rating system. Smolensk State Medical University is one of the oldest universities in Russia and offers courses in multiple streams. There are 65 departments where more than 450 highly qualified faculty members are imparting their knowledge.
